My friend and I were talking about suicide.
I told her most of the time it’s because of kids being bullied.
She said not many people get bullied that she sees.
You don’t have to see it for it to be happening.

I was bullied all through elementary school, and into middle and high school as well, though to a lesser and lesser extent, thank god.
Bullying was rampant when I was in grade school, and there’s not a doubt in my mind that it is still rampant today.
i dont even remember how it started but all i can remember is no one ever liking me. I was always too weird or too different, too into books…it was horrible, they could figure out exactly what to say to make me feel horrible. ‘why are you fat?’ ‘where’s your dad?’ ‘doesn’t he love you?’ or just statements, ‘you’re ugly’ ‘you’re fat’ ‘dumbass’. all kinds of things. by the time i was in 5th grade i was walking into busy roads hoping id get hit on ‘accident’. i would miss so much school my mom would get in trouble with truancy. I had to transfer to a school 2 hrs away for it to stop because the teachers, the principal wouldn’t do anything about it.
